A society where law enforcement personnel shoot ordinary people on the street

It was a tragic event that a lady was shot by one of the ICE personnel in Minnesota. For news or report mentioning on that, there are always certain number of people pressing the smile or laughter button to those posts in Facebook. Not so many but 10 or 20% of the total. In addition to this tragedy, that sarcasm also surprises me a lot.

I wonder what they are thinking of that tragedy. A government officer murdered a civilian on a street. Are they drunken? They are so called MAGA people, aren't they? At least, they seem not to feel any pain or distress at the situation. They don't know they could be the next target for shooting.

The excuse ICE had made was "self defence" It was also terrible. It could never be ratified at all. In such a situation, how could an ICE shoot a civilian without any arm? A "law enforcement" member shooting ordinary people could never be excused. If anyone excuses that way, he/she should be a psychopath.

Now soverignty of a nation or independence of a people could be easily jeopardized with military power in the world. Hobb's world seems to appear in the world. It should be denied by any means for the next generation.

I didn't expect to live on such a world. The generations of my parents and older have lived through the terrible world wars in the last century. We and younger generation should fight against the dictatorship based on populism and greedy capitalism. Or the mankind civilization may be perished with another world war. Those dictatorship leaders in the world, for our happiness, are in danger themselves and won't live too long. When the turmoil is settled down, we should empower and authorize such as the United Nations and progress disarmament in the world. A lot of people are dying with paucity of medical services in the world. We should spend the expenditure more for such purpose. Right of collective self defence and generalized deterrence are the only way for the next generation to survive in this world. Action of sarcasm should be denied.

  1. Yes, your country has a wonderful history of excellence in its treatment of humanity.
I am certain that if you were alive during that period you would also have been part of that brutality.
Please stick to ham radio and music and stop this sanctimonious nonsense.

    1. You are trying to make me keep quiet as for the problem not advntageous for yourself, aren't you? I would never stop discussing about behaviour of your imperialistic greedy guy and of his supporters. It is the problem before me at present. Of couorse, the topic like atomic bombing to Hiroshima and Nagasaki as well as the war criminals of our ancestors committed in China and so forth would be featured, when it is necessary. It is the time for me to discuss about one of the biggest military power which undergoes to be an imperialism nation. Please go on your discussion of hypocrisy at your own blog.

    2. I could not stop laughing at your comment. It is you who should go back to ham radio, not doing with an old pediatrician, exactly an old amateur farmer. It is not a behaviour of an intellectual guy to handle someone with the attribute and/or age. I fully understand what you want to say. No more comments here.

  2. My dad was an RAF fighter pilot in WW2. He died aged 97 eight years ago. He warned me that once his generation had passed away, the lessons learned would be forgotten. He was right.

    1. Yes, your father is right. The younger generation seems to commit that mistake in our country. They have not experienced any war. Education and/or mass media have not successful to deliver the truth of war to them. They won't read sentences longer than posts in X.

  3. The Japanese people learned a lesson a very hard way, and suffered greatly for their mistakes. They won't return to militarism in future.
The US has never learned this lesson.

    1. I am doubtful of that. Most Japanese have not experienced the war so much as the Chinese people used to. Reading histories of the war in China, I learned their damages and agonies during WWII had been much more than we could imagine. I know why Chinese and the other people in Asia are so cautious about the militarism movement in Japan. My father who used to serve his military duty in China has been concerned about this issue while he was alive. The US under Trump administration is in jeopardy leading to military imperialism since it is going to lose its supremacy in the world. It's surprising the Trump administration would increase the budget for military by 1.5 times of last year. They seem to aim at military super power in the world while hundreds of thousand are bankruptcied due to lack of public medical insurance every year. Our country is heading to the same direction.
